SJBHL 2009 winter/spring playoff write-up
S.J.B.H.L. 2009 winter/spring league Playoffs held April 23, 2009
9 Players qualified for the South Jersey Bubble Hockey League (S.J.B.H.L.) season ending Playoff Tournament held Thursday night, April 23, 2009, in Burlington, NJ. Due to Joe being a late scratch, Marc graciously filled in for him (but not before the other players made him bring beer and sweet Harry Kalas posters!). The seeds for the tournament, based on the season-long Power Rankings, went like this:

#4 – Jimmy S.
#5 - Dan P.
#6 – Bill M.
#7 – Larry J.
#8 – Marc K.
#9 - Glenn C.
The format was a modified “knock-down” tournament, where winners advanced for the right to play for the 1st and 2nd place Crystal Cups, and the “knocked-down” players battled it out for the 3rd place Crystal Cup. Higher seeded players were given choice of opponent for a 3 game series, the lower seeded opponent got to pick the table the series was played on, and the higher seed was given choice of table side. The action played out over 3 SuperChexx Tables as follows:
